Our Stallions

Midas is that 1 in a million horse I've always dreamed of! I was looking for a stallion prospect that check all of the required boxes: conformation, disposition, gait and temperament.  Midas would be my first stallion, so he needed to be calm, gentle, and forgiving as I transitioned from a consumer to a breeder. Midas embodies all of that and more.
I knew right away there was something special about Midas. He has a presence makes takes my breath away, an intelligence and a spirit that speaks to my soul. I knew there was something very special about this boy. He is everything I could ask for and more!
Midas is big boned, balanced, has solid feet, a gentle eye, deep heart girth, a short back, big hip, masculine features, heavy mane and tail, and more. Midas comes from a 40+ year breeding program and has strong genetic traits that he imprints on every single foal. He will improve a mares head, add height and bone, and give that foal an in-your-pocket, people loving disposition. He is homozygous for the curiosity (vs. vigilance) gene,  He is also homozygous black, so there will be no red-based foals, but many will have dapples as Midas, his sire and many of his siblings have them as well. He is also homozygous for the gait gene so would be a great cross on drafts and other non-gaited breeds.
